HOA Structure The success of any HOA depends on volunteers interested in improving their community with the skills and dedication to make things happen. There are several standing committees that support the Potrero Court community. Each committee works within a budget approved by the HOA board and handles day to day responsibilities in their respective area. They are also responsible for drafting policies, procedures and rules applying to their area that are approved by the board of directors.
Oversight of the management of the Homeowners Association is the responsibility of the Board of Directors. Six volunteer homeowners are elected by the membership each year to serve on the Board of Directors. The Annual Membership Meeting of the Embarcadero Lofts Homeowners Association is held in or around February of each year. The Board of Directors delegates day-to-day authority to CitiScape Property Management Group for the administration of the association and maintenance of the common property.

Architectural Control Committee
This committee handles requests for architectural modifications to units, such as those found when an owner wishes to remodel their unit. Potrero Court Homeowners Association has written policies for unit modifications and controls for architecture guidelines. After review, the committee forwards its recommendations to the Board for final approval of unit modifications. If you are planning on remodeling your unit, contact CitiScape for more information about the approval process and what you'll need to submit.
The Landscape Committee ensures that the common landscaping throughout the property is properly maintained. The Committee makes recommendations to the Board, and vets maintenance and landscape improvement proposals. The Committee works within their budget as adopted by the Board of Directors each year. If you are interested in serving on the Landscape Committee, let your interest be known by posting your inquiry in the "Communications" link to the Board of Directors.
